Hello lovely wisps,
Welcome to my little magickal world. I’m phoebe, the artist who draws and handmakes all the goodies you can find here.
I hope to make wisps in the wild into a space full of nostalgic, whimsical nature-focused art that uses folklore to remind people of how our connection to the earth is very important! I want my work to inspire my community to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the animals and nature around us.
I strive to create the feeling of childlike wonderment and adventure, the sense that anything is possible, and the world is full of everyday magic waiting to be discovered.
My process begins by spending time noticing nature and capturing those special moments through my film camera. I then use Procreate, Acrylic markers or Gouache to paint inspired by the pictures I took. Each piece is a mix of real-world details and my own whimsical narrative, creating a place where you can escape, dream, and feel the joy I see in the world.
